About Richard

A golden baritone with an activist's relationship to the material.

Richard has shared the bandstand with Sullivan Fortner, Peter Bernstein, Emmet Cohen, and Marilyn Maye. His 2025 tour spanned from an orchestral Nat King Cole tribute in Oslo to celebrated rooms across the U.S. and Canada. When he isn't on the road, you'll find him in residence at Birdland, Mezzrow, and Club Cumming — telling the stories behind the songs.
